Among others, the Institute will exhibit integrallymanufactured foamed SMC with solid face sheets, in-situ polymerised RTM products with thermoplastic matrix (Cyclics®, CBT®), and hollow structures made of continuous reinforced thermoplastics. Another highlight will be a live demonstration of a new liquid composite moulding (LCM) process called "gap impregnation", which has been developed at IKV Gap impregnation facilitates a very fast impregnation by using special . moulds with an adaptive cavity.
