Solstiss aromatherapy line As well as its new lace collections in 100% silk and 100% organic cotton, Solstiss is going even further for S/S 2010 with the launch of an innovative “aromatherapy” wellbeing collection. By associating three elements – textiles, colors and essential oils – Solstiss has worked to promote increased harmony and wellbeing of the body and the soul. To give life to this project the brand studied the active principles of plants such as Aloe Vera, Ginseng or Ylang-Ylang; as for the textiles, natural fibers such as silk, cotton and cashmere were the key choice. Tailor launches Green Fit For S/S 2010 Tailor offers the market its interpretation of eco-friendly textiles with the launch of Green Fit, a new range of ladder-proof textiles made with the use of Mipan Regen™ Hyosung recycled nylon. Besides the biological composition of the actual textile the production process itself is also eco-friendly registering a 28% decrease in gas emissions. Composed of 80% polyamide and 20% elasthane Green Fit is available in a wide variety of natural colors and has also proved to be extremely resistant while only weighing 170gr/m2. 96
