Network express lingerie trade shows in the month of February of which our North American magazine, The Best of Intima is media partner. At CurveNV in Las Vegas visitors were welcomed by a hostess at The Best of Intima stand where they received a free copy of the magazine. In New York the magazine was present with its stand and Lounge Area where visitors, buyers and brand representatives stopped by to pick up their free copy of the magazine and to exchange information with the magazine’s editorial staff. FRANCE Intima T-shirt no.5 The fifth edition of the must have limited edition Intima Tshirt was presented in September 2008 and offered to all visitors with invitation at the Intima Lounge at the Mode City fair in Paris. Designer Beatrice Paola Ruffini this time chose the path of natural fibers. Made entirely in bamboo fibers on circular looms, the T-shirt features charming floral motifs in chiaroscuro, on the cuffs and bottom rim. Bamboo is particularly appreciated for its natural transpiration properties and gives items a softness similar to that of cashmere. The project also called on the expertise of two Italian manufacturers: Norman Group, specialists in seamless garments, and Fil Man Made Group srl for the yarn. Fifth edition of the Best Shop Awards Over 230 guests attended the 2008 Best Shop Awards which took place on August 3rd in New York at the elegant Espace. The national competition for the best lingerie specialty stores relies on the participation of an exclusive Jury comprising major brands who select nominated stores and winners. The BSA are an eagerly-awaited networking event and following the announcement of the winners all guests spent a memorable evening of fun, food and music. Intima, partner of Evolution Days Always present at the industry’s key events, Intima didn’t miss the fourth edition of Evolution Days. As Eurovet partner, the Group’s French magazine invited industry professionals to pick up a complementary copy of its November issue at the fair. A way to make new contacts in the industry which is always much appreciated by everyone.
