S A L O N I NT E R N A T I O N A L DE LA LINGERIE Delicious dark chocolate lace, meringue mesh and enticing red berry embroideries: this year the Salon International de la Lingerie sparked off the imagination of brands and textile suppliers with a selection of truly mouthwatering themes for its Ultra Lingerie catwalk show. Visitors and professionals packed the hall to admire the original yet soberly extravagant creations of the 2009 edition which proved to be one of the most successful to date. And this year the event boasted an exceptional Jury of the highest standards comprising exclusively 46 of top professionals in the fashion industry whose judgment everyone shared to the fullest. The judges awarded the Ultra Gourmandise Trophy to Prélude in collaboration with Boselli and Sophie Hallette; the model also went on to win the Public’s Choice Award. The Ultra Matières Trophy was awarded to the Italian brand Ritratti in collaboration with Boselli, Eurostick and Junior Hagen, while the Jury’s Coup de Cœur Trophy was awarded to Empreinte together with Forster Rohner, Liebaert and Seram.
