Trends: The number of bicycles recorded over the survey in June 2007 shows a drop compared with June 2006, due to less favourable weather conditions. In October 2007, the number of recorded bicycles rose sharply, +40% compared with the October 2005 survey and +46% compared with the October 2006 survey. This increase coincides with the launch of the Vélib’ system, its share being 37% on the day of the survey. Jean-Jaurès at both ends and Bd de Magenta at both ends. On all sites, between 8am and 8pm, 20,103 bicycles were recorded on 12 June and 29,278 were recorded on 9 October, including 33% Vélib’ bicycles. 15
