help create. We make sure that the leadership team is fully aligned on the change
initiative and is committed to produce
breakthrough results. We then consult with
them to engage the active work product
and leadership of people at all levels of the
organization in the transformation.

How do you view the
Consulting market today?
We see the demand for consulting evolving
from a traditional paradigm of advising clients how to do their work more effectively,
which yields, at best, incremental results,
to a catalyst model providing tools that
do not replace companies knowledge and
resources but allow them to fully use what
they have for bigger impact. This is a slow
evolution and a lot of companies still buy
consulting per the advisory model of recommendations about what their strategy
should be, what culture they should have or
what their processes should be. Executives
are starting to realize that this approach may
not lead to ownership and empowerment,
nor does it produce long-lasting sustainable
results. They increasingly look for state-ofthe-art industry expertise from their consultants, and creative analyses, which they
seldom have the bandwidth to conduct,
being focused on operational issues. They
want their people to have more say in where
they want to go and how. The challenge then
becomes to embark the whole organization
behind this intention so that people's energy,
creativity and skills are efficiently put in service of the strategy.

What is the Insigniam difference?
In support of our core capabilities in organizational transformation strategy innovation,
user-centered innovation and innovation
projects, breakthrough performance and
breakthrough projects, we bring to bear the
following four elements in everything we do:
› We promise results. We align with our
clients on clear, specific, measurable business results to be produced as measures
of success. Our consultants then join the
client's executives in promising those results.
› Our design capability. We do not provide an "off-the-shelf " solution for people
to learn and implement. We partner with

"Our longevity as a firm
is a direct result of our
commitment to deliver
the specific, measurable
results that are of
paramount importance
to our clients"
our clients to build the kind of organizational
structure and skills that equip and enable
people across an organization to deliver
extraordinary results.
› Client intimacy. Our longevity as a firm
is a direct result of our commitment to
deliver the specif ic, measurable results
that are of paramount importance to our
clients. Ensuring that ever y interaction
directly forwards the commitment of our
clients' strategic imperative is what we do.
Consequently, our clients receive returns far
in excess of the time and monies invested in
our engagements.
› Our transformational technology and
methodology. An effort aimed to "change
what doesn't work" by providing detailed
plans for people to act upon fails to engender the ownership and enthusiasm that is
required to implement large-scale efforts,
nor does it empower individuals to deliver
the growth our clients are committed to.

Instead, succeeding in these initiatives calls
for first putting aside the prevailing organizational paradigm that informs and constrains
peoples' action. Then, aligning the structures, processes, and ways of doing business
with a new commitment and future for the
business. This is what we call transformation.
Most companies operate from constrained
resources and have to optimize the use of
these resources. Most employees want their
job to have a purpose and want to see the
difference that their contribution makes.
Insigniam helps organizations bring these
two imperatives together to create value for
customers, for employees, for shareholders
and for society.
