The resin has a high softening temperature and extremely high tear strength and modulus. It imparts excellent toughness and breaking elongation to composite matrices under higher loads.V18 Epo-622 resin can form a shiny and transparent skin on the cured products free of any “white spots” after sanding with water. The new epoxy resin systems are used in the aircraft industry for high temperature resistance and flame retardant applications. The geometry of the reinforcing structures found in nature is always optimally adapted to the corresponding load. The main idea behind research at Cetex was to imitate Mother Nature by using these reinforcing structures in technologies. To this end, an additional device was developed for multiaxial technology. Its main feature is resistance to the e-coat curing cycle between 180°C and 220°C. The adhesive is a two-component, polyurethanebased formulation with a 1:1 volume mixing ratio. It is easy to use on standard equipment and intended for composite, aluminium, and other metal assemblies. This adhesive, like the rest of the TotalSeal range, has been developed to meet the technical and commercial requirements of the automotive industry. www.ljfm.com > Stand D7 Camelsan A.S, founded in January 2007, has succeeded in recycling the mixed hank glass fibre waste bundles which are generated during the production of glass fibre. The company’s unique machines and production system were designed and manufactured after three years of R&D. The products are chopped glass fibre strands ranging from 4.5 to 80 mm according to customer demand.
