JOB MOBILITY EMPLOYMENT IN 2014: RISING TREND! The job market is waking up. job opportunities 2250 2013 +15% 2950 2014 And our figures in early 2015 confirm this turnaround in the job market. In February 2015, we received 40% more listings than in 2013. HEC is one of the founding members of the job board portal Manageurs.com, a bilingual job portal that brings together 21 associations of top French and European engineering and business schools. Accessible anywhere in the world, nearly 35,000 profiles/CVs are already posted there, including 17% by graduates residing outside France, a sign for the future. More than 40,000 job opportunities were posted online on this job board in 2014. 35 000 CVs on-line 40 000 However, this already large figure was only stable compared with the previous year, and we are not satisfied with this. In early 2014, the decision was made to boost this strategic tool for job listings and CV posting by preparing a technical migration to a new, more efficient platform (in partnership with Météojob, France's number 3 job board) and by stepping up our commercial activities. A new name was chosen by the founding associations: WATs4U (World Alumni Talents for You). The public deployment of this new name and this thoroughly revamped tool will take place in summer 2015. The recruitment in fall 2014 of Janet O'Sullivan, International Alumni Affairs Manager within HEC Alumni, should help enhance our offering and increase job mobility: welcome Janet, we look forward to working together! We also launched a "Businesses" work group. HEC Careers, in collaboration with the HEC Foundation and HEC Paris, initiated discussions aimed at bringing us closer to business (CAC 40, intermediate-sized companies, SMEs, start-ups, etc.) and alumni working within these companies. Our goals: * to develop win-win exchanges with these companies, their managers, and graduates who work there and to help build a network of HEC Ambassadors within these companies. * this activity is expected to start being rolled out in 2015 and will allow HEC Careers and the Association to increase its cooperation with the Campus and the Foundation for the coming years. It will especially make it possible, in the long term, to reinforce the job listings from these companies, as well as those offers belonging to the famous "hidden" employment market which represent a significant share of the job market. job opportunities on-line 41 http://www.Manageurs.com
