With top-notch invited guests or new talents, HEC Alumni's notoriety and its open-mindedness continue to grow. ECONOMIC AND ENTREPRENEURIAL TOPICS WITH HIGH ADDED VALUE MATINS HEC, A SPECIAL BREAKFAST! Breakfasts with economic personalities (business leaders, members of international or government organizations), Matins HEC are the Association's flagship event. Their success has been unfailing over the last 30 years. Over the last year, more than 2,000 participants in all attended one of these monthly events co-organized with our partners Challenges, Bain, and ZénithOptimedia. HEC MERCURE PRIZE FOR ENTREPRENEURS. 5 February 2015: 16th HEC Mercure Prize award ceremony for entrepreneurs. The presentation of the 2014 Mercure Prize awards brought together nearly 300 participants. The evening, devoted to starting and taking over businesses, was sponsored by Les Caisses d'Epargne, Mazars, and UBS, in partnership with the Paris Ile-de-France Chamber of Commerce and Industry. It is the much-awaited, must-attend event on the entrepreneurship and the solidarity of HEC Alumni. - Matins HEC: always a success! Since the last General Assembly, we have welcomed: Louis Dreyfus (H.93), Chairman of the Executive Board of "Le Monde" Frédéric Mazzella, Chairman and Founder of Blablacar Jean-Paul Herteman, Safran's CEO Jean-Charles Decaux, Chairman of the Executive Board of JCDecaux Jean-Paul Agon (H.78), L'Oréal's CEO Christian Noyer, Governor of Bank de France Christophe de Maistre, Siemens' CEO Romain Voog, Amazon France's CEO Serge Weinberg, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sanofi Isabelle Kocher, Deputy Managing Director in charge of Operations - GDF Suez 34 - 2014 Mercure Prizes' winners. This year's winners were: Best Project: Paolin Pascot (M.13), Clément Lefournis (M.13), and Dinh Nguyen for Agriconomie. Recent start-up category: Pierre Jérémy Gardiner (M.03) and Pascale Fildier (MBA.80) for rendezvouscheznous.com. Young business category: Jean-Rémi Kouchakji (H.13) and Bertrand Sylvestre-Boncheval (H.13) for MyBee. Takeover category: Grégory Declercq (H.08) and Pierre Juhen (H.08) for Silvya Terrade. Jury Prize for Best Entry: Julien Salanave-Pehe (H.99) for Orée. Booster (non-HEC): Alexandre Giora and Raphaël Girardin for Matahi Company.
