Opened in september 2008 and with a 1000ft 2 surface, the boutique was designed to inspire customers; to bring them into a place where they can feel special and good about themselves, a place that embraces femininity and turns what can be a daunting task into a pleasurable experience. The store design takes its inspiration from elements of lingerie. Lace, diamantes and ribbon were used to create the material and color palettes. Jewel tone colors such as aqua and plum are contrasted against white and black surfaces, bringing to mind the bold colors of risque lingerie of lavish French boudoirs. The main feature is a large lace corset covering an entire wall, laced together with vibrant ribbon while doves, a symbol of love and romance, are referenced throughout the store. In the front, large windows let in cheerful natural light and bright halogens help to keep things ‘sunny’ reflecting off the bright colors and textures that cover the walls. Vignettes of featured looks whet the appetite as you peruse the store. In these gorgeous surroundings skilled bra fitting mistresses work one-on-one with the customers until their expectations have been fulfilled and surpassed! Alongside fashion favorites that include Empreinte, Pleasure State and Elle Macpherson,in support of all women Secrets carries underwear to cater to the needs of young, old, large or small and inbetween in a mission to educate customers and empower women to choose their lingerie with wisdom.
