In addition to its light weight, the material reinforced with 3B glass fibre has excellent mechanical properties compared with metal. It also offers corrosion resistance, together with electrical and thermal insulation. The cladding was produced in 22 metre-long and 1.40 metre-wide strips, which are extremely light and could easily be handled on a busy construction site. Overall, the installed cladding is cost-competitive and the material has great potential.
