Spain, Danobat Composites is a
machine integrator that creates
turnkey manufacturing processes for
industries such as aerospace, automotive, energy, and transportation. The
ADMP® (Automated Dry Material
Placement) proprietary technology
developed by the company is used to
automate the deposit of dry resin-infused fabrics to create composite parts
such as wing skins or frames.
100 times faster
Current manufacturing processes for
prepregs are labour-intensive and
costly. The use of dry materials makes
it possible to manufacture highly
integrated composite structures while
reducing assembly costs, and replacing manual steps with automated
systems. As a result, fabrics can be deposited at a rate 100 times faster than

current processes, while material costs
are 50% lower. These are extremely
significant results, which have been
demonstrated to work, and this is only
the beginning. The company's goal
is to create more solutions that will
shape industries by using advanced
automated systems. As a niche player,

Automated dry
material placement
Danobat Composites has designed
an advanced solution for dry material
lay-up with deposit rates 10 times
faster than prepreg process technologies such as automated fibre placement (AFP) with slit tape. ADMP is
a new disruptive solution that uses
automation to produce preforms that
can be used with any infusion process
to make a composite part. ADMP can
bring significant cost and processing
advantages to the aerospace sector.
The company's solution uses machines to automate manual work,
resulting in increased production
rates, improved quality and higher
consistency while reducing costs,
material waste and time to market.
