Marc Braet, Managing Partner INTIX - Could you briefly present your company? - JUL / AUG / SEP 2014 INTIX is a company that provides innovative solutions, in the context of financial messaging data, to financial institutions and corporates. Our Message Suite offers our clients a single window on all their data, across platforms and data channels. Most institutions have so many systems and archives that, once they need to find information, it becomes a difficult, time consuming and expensive task. Also in many cases this data is in many different formats or standards. Our innovative technology allows to offer banks and corporates to get a single window access to all their financial messaging data, across formats and standards. Our solutions can deal with all this data in an easy and efficient way, and allow users to perform detailed (un)structured searches, reporting activities and business intelligence dashboards as per their own business needs. By implementing the INTIX solutions, great value will be brought to the institution, and this will result in an increased operational efficiency and a reduced Total Cost of Ownership (TCO). Since our solutions can deal with any kind of (structured) data, and can generate any kind of desired output, our solutions come in very handy when specific type of reports need to be generated, for compliance reasons for example. These report lay-outs can also be stored and re-used with newer data in the future. - Are they easy to implement? Our solutions are standard and out-of-the-box, making implementations fairly light and easy, and also ensuring state-ofthe-art support and maintenance. Being a standard software does not mean that there is no flexibility to respond to specific customer requirements. A lot can be achieved by configuration. Where specific (integration) developments would still be required, we will deliver them as an extension point of the solution, and as such we are not impacting the standard solution. - Are they easy to use? N°86 - In which area are you most active? - LE MAGAZINE DU TRESORIER / TREASURER MAGAZINE - Do they comply with the new regulations? As mentioned before, our solutions bring value to financial institutions and corporates. Within these organizations, we see wide opportunities. From IT to business, from payments en cash management to securities, treasury and trade, and not to forget to compliance for all regulatory based reporting needs and enquiries. All these departments or groups have different needs and interests, but in most cases these are based on the same underlying data. We now offers one single solution that can be rolled-out very wide in the organization. End-users do not need a software installation, only a standard browser such as Internet Explorer 9, Chrome, Safari or Firefox. Via their access credentials they will get an access to our server, installed in the customer's IT room. Our solutions are intuitive and it is not required to organize (expensive) trainings. Also the user manual is 100% linked to the on-line help and will make the life of the end-user very easy. The ease of use also contributes to the cost efficiency of the solution. INTIX 62 - Does your solution support integration with SWIFT Messaging Interfaces ? The solutions we offer can natively integrate with all SWIFT Interfaces (SWIFTAlliance Entry, Access, Lite2 and AMH). We can deal with every SWIFT Message type, also the SEPA messages, and offer full archiving functionalities. On all this data, INTIX users can perform detailed queries, generate reports and business intelligence dashboards. - How could your solutions improve reporting? Today most institutions have reporting systems in place, but they are very often silo based, and as such no reporting solution offers the complete picture on a 'mouse click'. Having to consolidate reports is a time consuming exercise and thus also costly. On top of that, the risk of making consolidation mistakes also exists. Our solutions can deal with any kind of (structured) data, and can as such make any kind of reporting possible and efficient. - What will INTIX further focus on in the future? We have a modular approach with our solutions, so we can offer customers only the functionalities they really need. We will be adding new functionalities to our current modules, our own Message Archive and Message Warehouse. We are actively listening to our customers and their expressed needs translates over time in these new features. In the near future we will be releasing 2 new modules, the INTIX Message Monitor and the INTIX Message Tracker. The Message Monitoring provides institutions with a real-time, content-based monitoring and alerting solution, supporting predictive pattern definitions and historical trend analysis. This will bring great value in the context of liquidity management for example. The Message Tracker provides a single window on all system-tosystem communication. It will correlate individual messages in realtime and recognize conversations. By using the Message Tracker you will be able to efficiently diagnose anomalies in the message flows.
