Newer notables NEW CHIC AND CHEAP LINGERIE BOUTIQUE OPENED ITS DOORS IN THE HEART OF A SMALL, INVITING NEIGHBORHOOD IN THE HEART OF MONTPELLIER, IN SOUTHERN FRANCE. THE WARM AND RELAXED ATMOSPHERE HAS WELCOMED CUSTOMERS SINCE OCTOBER 24TH 2009. THE Chic and Cheap Maud, the owner of the Chic and Cheap boutique, has created a concept store light-years away from the supermarket spirit of lingerie sales. She has successfully created a store that reaches out to customers on the personal level. “Intimacy” is the definite feel of this 538 ft2 store where ready to wear mixes with lingerie and accessories. An eclectic selection of items, on display in the shop windows, among which men’s boxers mingle with ultra feminine outfits. A large white archway matches the light wooden flooring of the sales area. A silver dressing table and a low cupboard, gives the space a boudoir touch. The items on sale are displayed on mannequins or on shelves. Behind the main sales area is a second, cozier, room with an even wider range of products, to invite customers to relax among red velvet couches and armchairs, a coffee table full of magazines. Black walls, white ceilings and red furniture, Maud offers an escape from the real world into a seductive, Venetian atmosphere with a touch of 18th century French décor. Customers are welcome to come relax and have a cup of coffee while trying on clothes in the fitting rooms. Maud offers her suggestions.
