Entrepreneurship Festival
2017, Get on the Ship
On November 16th, the Entrepreneurship Festival took place on five of ESCP Europe's campuses (Berlin,
London, Madrid, Paris, Turin). All campuses thus celebrated the tenth anniversary of the chair and the
creation of the Jean-Baptiste Say Institute was announced on this occasion, as a sort of emblem.

Turin Entrepreneurship Festival 2017
started with an introduction by Francesco
Rattalino, Director of the Turin Campus,
and Davide Canavesio, Director of the
Environment Park. In the morning there
were inspired speeches by several entrepreneurs and managers. Then the journey
into the Entrepreneurship world continued
with a stimulating workshop during which
ESCP Europe students had the opportunity to pitch their startup ideas.
Entrepreneurship Festival - Paris
This year's Entrepreneurship Festival
focused on an issue which is near to the
heart of the Jean-Baptiste Say Institute:
"Will the entrepreneur kill the manager?"
It was explored through a dozen different events, such as round tables, workshops, exclusive events, and more. Leading
figures of the European entrepreneurial
ecosystem such as Thierry Petit - CEO
of Showroomprivé and Vice President of
France Digitale; Arnaud Burgot - Ulule;
Stépha ne Dist i ng u i n - Faber novel;
Jospéhine Bouchez - Ticket for Change,
and others, they provided their testimonies
and insights on the definitive impact of
the entrepreneurial wave - a wave that's
turning the workforce upside down. Paris
campus welcomed more than 1200 visitors to support entrepreneurship through
captivating, real-life experiences. JeanPierre Raffarin who sponsored the Chair
10 years ago was present in the morning
for an exchange breakfast and to reaffi rm
his support for entrepreneurship at ESCP
Europe.

In the hands-on business model workshop
organized by Ko.Be, the participants completed the canvas following the thoughtful consideration by checklists and notes.
Javier Sevilla, entrepreneur, angel investor, teacher and digital expert gave them
insights on the future model for digital
services.
Participants could also attend a class with
experts on how to do food-porn pictures.

The festival ended with the announcement
of the winners:
› Best Idea Project: Grillo (Luca Donvito,
Maurizio Fanelli, Gennaro Generoso,
Caterina Pintus, Christopher Schlode);
› Best Pitch: Drink2me (Federico De
Grandi, Erik Ferrarese, Giulio Gattiglio,
Giorgio Pagliero, Luca Rubino);
› Best Tomorrow Investor: Gianluca
Broglio and Edoardo Prioglio.
The Millennial Invasion
of Madrid Campus
Madrid Entrepreneurship Festival 2017
was punctuated by seven highlights
organized by the 35 Option E students.
The company Formidable shared with participants some insights on how to access
the local food ecosystem of your town
and how to stop eating vegetables with
no taste.
From Rachel Williams they heard all
about the importance on Virtual Reality at
Telefonica. A 3D printer was available to
the participants.
Alberto Marcos, from Madrid´s famous
coding school Ironhack, proposed a workshop to build a fi rst digital product and to
learn how to prototype.
Angélica Dass, the very talented Brazilian
artist and popular TED speaker was present as well as Veronica Mar, who opened
the discussion on "How new technologies
influence creation and design?"
