/4 News / Epadesa Close up on the Board’s latest decisions In session on April 13, the Epadesa Board of Directors approved six major points. k an urban link between the pedestrian mall and the City of Puteaux, and to create a continuous, quality public space between the Esplanade, the Parvis, the Boieldieu district, and the RN13. The fourth point of discussion was trifold: the terms of project management and research transfer agreements, procedures and collaboration with the government to develop the areas surrounding Carpe Diem and Eqho towers, and transforming Boulevard Circulaire into an urban boulevard in Courbevoie and Puteaux. The second-to-last point approved was the conditions for statutory consultation in the development of Boulevard Circulaire between Pont de Neuilly and Rue de Strasbourg. The project envisioned would continue the transformation of this infrastructure into an urban boulevard, and calls for improving pedestrian access between Courbevoie and La Défense. Lastly, Epadesa’s 2011 accounts established by the institution’s permanent accountant indicated results of €3,544,665, €78,796,000 in cash flow, and provisions amounting to €35,048,000. k For more information Epadesa moves! The Etablissement Public d’Aménagement de La Défense Seine Arche is settling in the heart of the territory for which it has been responsible since the governmental order of July 2, 2010. Epadesa’s main missions are to implement the La Défense Renewal Plan and continue to restructure the Seine Arche Urban Development Zone (Zone d’Aménagement Concertée, or ZAC) in Nanterre. In the future, it will work hand in hand with municipalities to develop the Eole station and Grand Paris Express projects in La Défense and Nanterre. Epadesa therefore decided to move to the heart of the National Interest Operation: Place Nelson Mandela, at the Nanterre-Préfecture RER station. To ensure a continued presence in La Défense, especially given public demand, Epadesa will open a project gallery to host site monitoring committees, project presentation meetings, and workshops for the public spaces project. This tower, with a net surface area of 887,624 square feet (82,463 m2) will replace the Aurore tower after its demolition. A Carlyle project, designed by the firm Arquitectonica. The structure will be integrated into its surroundings with shops and activities. The second approval was for the terms of the agreement to sell the Coupole shopping center to Société Financière Bordelaise for the construction of 250,000 square feet (23,000 m2) of retail space and leisure activities as part of an architectural project designed by B&B Architectes. Towards new urban links The urban blueprint for the RN13 and the launch conditions of investor/ architect consultations for the future France and Rose de Cherbourg buildings also got the go-ahead.
