/4 News /Mipim 2011 event La Défense Seine Arche at the International Market for real estate Professionals From 8 to 11 March 2011, EPADESA was present at the International Market for Real Estate Professionals (Marché International des Professionnels de l’Immobilier, MIPIM) in Cannes. This year’s event drew 18,600 guests as well as 6,400 companies from 90 countries around the world. EPADESA presented the regional issues it faces, the studies it has conducted and its service real estate offering, accompanied by 15 investors who showcased their projects in the area. Eight conferences were held in the stand, attended by an average of 200 people. Among other highlights, the model for the Arena 92 project was unveiled during one of these conferences. Overall, 2,500 guests visited La Défense Seine Arche’s stand, and a number of contacts were made with French and international investors, architects and foreign chambers of commerce. First winner of the Mipim Awards The First tower won the Mipim Award in the Refurbished Office Buildings category. It rewards renovation of old buildings transformed into well conceived office buildings that are ecological with low energy consumption.
