A world leader in advanced materials
In less than 20 years, Shanghai Leadgo-Tech established itself in the world
landscape and is now recognized as a high-tech company providing one-stop
local support. Leadgo-Tech focuses on the development, manufacture and
supply of composite materials and is actively using new processes and technologies.
L
eadgo-Tech has renowned customers such as
Avic, Lufthansa, Vestas,
Suzlon, Siemens, CRRC and
Sinoma. The company successfully delivers services to
various market sectors such
as wind energy, aerospace,
marine and transportation.
Almost 20 years'
experience
Shanghai Leadgo-tech Co.,
Ltd. was set up in 1999 as a
distributor of composite materials. In 2000, the company
started distributing Umeco's
products in China. Two years
later, its founder and CEO
Franck Hu invested in the
construction of a composite
plant in Shanghai, providing
composite moulding products and subcontracting services. In 2005, the Beijing
Branch was established, focusing on the wind energy
market in North China. The
following year, the subsidiary company Ningbo Hangke
Composite Co., Ltd. was created for the mass production
of vacuum auxiliary materi-

als such as peel ply, infusion
mesh, breather/bleede, ducts,
etc.
In 2009, a new plant was established in Shanghai to produce vacuum auxiliary materials. Leadgo then built
another auxiliary material
plant in Ningbo. In 2010, an
office opened in Guangzhou
to develop and service the
wind power, aerospace and
marine markets in South
China. At the same time, the
Xi'an office was created, in
charge the North-west China
aerospace and wind power market. In 2013, Ningbo
Leadgo Composite Co. Ltd.
was set up, mainly focusing
on vacuum auxiliary materials production and composite mould processing.
In 2013-2014, the company
established itself internationally and opened two subsidiaries, one in North America
in California and one in
Europe in Toulouse, France.
In 2015, to face and ensure
its development, LeadgoTech rented a 30,000m² plant
in Ningbo to increase its production capacity. The next
year, the company was listed
at NEEQ and became a public company.
Focusing on R&D
A 2500m² technology and
R&D centre was established
in Shanghai in October 2012,
as a key department for the
company. The centre built
up a high-quality R&D team
with solid technical skills and
professional knowledge, and
a strong experience in composites.
