metallurgical industries and for
the countries in Western Europe
and the USA where metallurgical operations were discontinued. For many countries, the
construction of BCF and BCF
materials plants will create a new
industry for composite and reinforcement materials, lower their
reliance on imports (reinforcements, profiles, pipes, reinforcing
mesh, and other steel materials)
and increase their export potential of high-tech production.
BCF materials have only partly
started to be used in the automotive and aviation industries [16,
17], where there is huge potential to increase the sales of these
materials. It is only a question of
creating large industrial plants
processing BCF into materials.
The necessary steps to create
new BCF facilities, increase BCF
production volumes and widen
the use of BCF materials are the
following:
1. Creating a programme to develop the manufacture and
application of BCF materials in individual countries
and unions of countries, for
example as was done by the
Government of China.
2. Attracting significant investment and financing. At the level of profitability of BCF and
BCF materials manufacture
(more than 100%), this is quite
possible.
3. Each production facility created should be technically
and economically successful
to attract investments in the
BCF sector.
Creating BCF plants requires professional companies with experience in industrial manufacture
and key technology and equipment patents. The experience
shows that customers should not

use the services of casual and new
"developers" of BCF equipment.
Unfortunately, the negative examples of the work of such "experts" are more than sufficient,
which is highly undesirable for
investors and BCF as a whole.
Issues related to the creation of
BCF production facilities should
be solved in a transparent manner, with an open discussion of
all offers.
Comprehensive solutions are
proposed for the creation of BCF
and manufacturing plants, covering: choice of basalt rock fields
(raw material for fibre production), development of feasibility
studies and business plans, BCF
and manufacturing plant projects, attracting investments and
financing, manufacturing, supply
and installation of complex process equipment, establishment
of production, production output, staff training, development
of process regulations, technical
conditions, and organizing the
sales of the factory's products.
This integrated approach makes
it possible to create BCF and
manufacturing plants in different countries. It will facilitate
the development of production
and a wide application of BCF
materials.
