Structural composites based on natural fibres and thermoplastic resins
The demand for new materials is constantly growing in the composite industry. Current research shows that natural fibres are increasingly used in green composites. In fact, they offer a wide range of advantages compared to organic fibres: good mechanical properties, biodegradability (in certain cases), renewable resource, lower production energy, etc. The next step towards market success for these products is to develop industrial production and to demonstrate their technical and environmental benefits.

Fast processing cycles

Raw materials

he composite industry needs to create thick, complex-shaped parts. One of the solutions for this consists in using woven reinforcements. Weaving improves mechanical properties and can be used to create new products. Natural fibres also help lower the environmental impact of materials. The natural fibre content in the final
