Wind Energy, Pipes, Pultrusion LRTM New boron and fluorinefree glass > Booth J1 CPIC TM® glass is a high-tensilestrength, high-modulus glass product. This new boron- and fluorine-free glass was developed by CPIC in 2008. TM® glass fibre was especially designed for longer wind blades, high pressure pipes and highstiffness pultruded profile applications. Compared with E-glass laminates, TM® glass laminates have significantly higher strength, higher modulus, better chemical corrosion resistance, higher temperature resistance and better fatigue properties. www.cpicfiber.com Testing > Booth D15 NidaFusion SXO is an isotropic triangulated fibreglass core material for closed moulding which is designed to offer superior strength and performance characteristics. NidaFusion SXO and SXF incorporate the most cost-effective FRP structural element of glass fibre combined with low-cost closed-cell foam. NidaFusion SXO utilizes closed-cell PU to maintain its shape and insulation value, while providing structure for the dry fibres during the resin injection phase for either infusion or LRTM processes. NidaFusion SXF uses closed-cell PE foam for the same purpose and is only suited for the LRTM process.
