Technical characteristics: - Length: 16.88 m, width: 5.2 m, displacement: 30 m, sailing speed: 20 kts. - Excellent safety, controllable in all weather conditions, good fire-fighting and rescue facilities. - Comfortable living cabin for 8 people. - The boat will keep afloat even when seawater is flooding into several cabins. In case the boat overturns, it can be uprighted in 15 sec. - The body hull and top structures are made of composites. - Vacuum-assisted resin infusion technology is used for the hull construction. - Foam and sandwich materials are used to reduce the body weight and improve strength and rigidity. - The product is a first in China. FRP poles Taishan Fiber Glass Inc. Co-developer: East China University of Science and Technology Application: FRP poles for lighting, communications and electric power transmission, especially for relatively inaccessible places like mountain regions, coastal areas and high buildings in cities. Technical characteristics: - Special centrifugal process patented and owned by the company. - Cone-shaped poles, one-step forming process, fast production, high production efficiency. - Using unidirectional glass-fibre reinforcement, the poles have extremely high axial strength and wind resistance. Meet specifications better than a filament-wound equivalent. - All parameters can be customized, high flexibility. - The inner and outer walls of the poles are smooth, no need for complex surface treatments. - Closed moulding process, limited emission and pollution. - The flange and sleeve joints meet a variety of requirements and are convenient for transportation and installation. B757-200 aircraft carbon brake disc Xi’an Aerospace Composites Research Institute Co-developer: Xian Super-Cyber Science & Tech Corp. Ltd. Application: Civil aircraft. Technical characteristics: Carbon-carbon is the most advanced brake disc material, and is widely used in civil aircrafts. This B757-200 carbon brake disc offers a higher friction coefficient, a higher thermal conduction coefficient (thanks to an increased number of vertical carbon fibres), and lower product cost. It can completely replace similar foreign products, and has been used successfully by Shanghai Airline Company and Air China Companion for more than two years in a variety of operating conditions. Compared to the Dunlop product, the brake disk has a higher vertical thermal conduction coefficient, a 50-110% higher shear strength and compression strength, a 20-30% higher friction coefficient and a 24% lower average cost per landing.
