About 60% of our passengers are leisure, 40% business. But we have been aggressively targeting business travellers since 2004 - for example, in 2005, we introduced Business Premier (tailored service for the business traveller, includes special check-in service, meal with wine or champagne, comfortable work space and Wi-Fi connectivity) and Leisure Select [premium leisure class, includes food and drink, 30 minute check in time, magazines and newspapers, comfortable lounge seating] for the six, first class coaches of each train. Because business travellers were telling us they wanted to travel with other business passengers, not tourists, babies and stag night parties. And our leisure passengers were saying they didn't want to travel with suits, mobile phones and laptops. We also introduced Business Premier lounges with ten minute check-in desks - because business travellers are pressed for time by definition. “ Issue 15 EURAILmag Business & Technology
