Exhibition update Shanghai Mode Lingerie 上升中的上海時尚內衣展 The 6th edition of the Shanghai Mode Lingerie tradeshow will welcome visitors from Asia and the world to discover the latest sourcing innovations for intimate apparel and swimwear. Intima Asia met with Shanghai Mode Lingerie Exhibition Manager Marie-Dominique de Fondaumière to discuss the show’s latest developments. 第六屆上海國際時尚內衣展將歡迎來自亞洲和世界各地的參觀者到展會上發掘內衣泳裝的創新元素。Intima Asia會同上海時尚內衣展會經理Marie-Dominique de Fondaumiere 一起探討展會的最新發展。 The Shanghai Mode Lingerie tradeshow is one of the last tradeshows of the “season”, what advantages or challenges does that represent? on the Rise We don’t look at our position in terms of “seasons” but in terms of purchase collections for fabrics and the best availability for our suppliers and visitors. We asked them when was the best time for them to travel to Asia and the month of October seemed to fit the best, because it was the best time in their calendars to collect samples, create their prototypes before launching their collections. Their calendars change with time, so it’s important for us to keep track of what is going on and adapt to fit their schedules. MARIEDOMINIQUE FONDAUMIERE 上海時尚內衣展會是當季最後的交易展會之一，這代表怎樣的優勢和挑戰？我們並不把這個展會放在‘季節’概念中，而是從面料採購和向供應商與參觀者提供最大化便利方面來看的。我們詢問過他們什麼時候最適合旅行到亞洲，而十月份被視為最恰當的月份，因為對他們來說，在發布新款產品前，這是收集樣品然後創作產品原型的最佳時間。他們的日程表會發生變化，所以我們必須緊隨其後，保證我們的展會適合他們的行程安排。參展的品牌趨勢在過去幾年中是如何演進的？我們的確看到了過去5年的演變進程。2005年第一屆上海時尚內衣展會上有很多基礎型，非常傳統的系列產品，而隨著時間推移這個現象已經發生變化。中國消費者的整體心理在變：女人渴望西方風格的設計和裁剪，現在的系列款式更趨大膽且顏色豐富，質量也大有改進。當地的生產已經達到更高水準，品牌也更高檔化。在我們現在的展會上有一個論壇，叫“Les Exclusive”，專門是用於展示中國本地和國際知名高檔奢侈品牌中最優秀和創新的產品。今年的展會將有一個新的部分叫做“名品學院”，展示亞洲年輕品牌的作品，這個主意是怎樣得來的？市場演變是這個全新部分的主要推動力。當中國還是個製造國家時，中國政府已經注意到中國消 How have the exhibiting brand trends evolved over the past years? W have seen a true evolution over the last five years. When the first Shanghai Mode Lingerie edition took place in 2005, we had a lot of basics, some very traditional collections that went through a phenomenal evolution over time. The consumer’s overall mentality has changed in China: women crave western designs and cuts, the collections are now bolder, more colourful. The quality has greatly improved, the local production has reached a higher quality level, and local brands are becoming 92
