Mais qu'en sera-t-il du dernier avion,
celui qui contient les porteurs de drapeaux ? Tous les doutes sont permis, le
soir approchant et alors qu'il commence
à pleuvoir. Une rumeur circule comme
quoi les pilotes du DC-3 ne veulent pas
assurer cette dernière rotation. Pierre
Lhopitallier, d'Abeille Parachutisme, serait en train d'organiser la mise en place
de son Caravan pour une ultime tentative, une dernière rotation, et encore il
faudrait pouvoir en passer deux, pour
faire sauter tout le monde. Et la pluie
continue de tomber...

parachutiste, civile ou militaire, général
Les organisateurs
Parmi les personnes et entités ayant activement participé aux sauts
de la Saint-Michel 2017 :
■ L'association «Amis du souvenir et de la liberté» : Jean-Paul Delaunay
(président), qui s'est démené pour l'organisation, le repas du soir, etc.,
Charles Derieux (numérique, membre du conseil d'administration)
et Jacques Gromelon, qui a tenu à ramener en tracteur tous les paras sautant
sur les herbus, tout au long de la journée,
■ le maire du Mont Saint-Michel, Yann Galton et Jacques Bono,
son conseiller municipal et responsable des cérémonies,
qui sont très favorables aux parachutistes,
■ les policiers municipaux : Vincent Laveille et Brice Patin, qui n'ont pas
ménagé leurs efforts et les heures passées pour le bon déroulement en
sécurité des sauts et pour la préparation de la zone de posé sur l'esplanade,
■ Olivier Maquaire, directeur des vols et responsable au sol de la zone de
l'esplanade,
■ Séverine et David Guillotin (président d'Airborne School) organisateurs
et responsables sol des sautants en ouverture automatique
(les «reconstituants»),
■ Patrick Carré, parachutiste professionnel, largueur sur les six rotations
de DC-3 et en charge de la partie administrative,
■ et aussi la direction départementale du littoral, la préfecture de la Manche
et la DAC ouest.
