Mobilien Mobilien programme: Reorganisation of the Main Bus Network routes as part of the Ile-de-France region Urban Development Plan (redistribution of public areas, improvement of public transport, etc.). Over 150 routes are concerned on a regional level and 18 in Paris. The 18 Mobilien routes operate up to 12.30am and comply with Mobilien frequency rates (one bus every 10 minutes during the day and one bus every 15 minutes in the evening). They operate on Sundays. Route studied: Route studied to improve bus circulation and for which developments deemed necessary have been made: bus lanes, resizing, changing traffic directions, etc. Progress of the Mobilien programme in Paris (excluding PC route) As part of its policy to develop public transport, Paris City Hall has undertaken, with the RATP city transport authority, the implementation of the Mobilien programme, in liaison with the Ile-de-France regional council, the State and the STIF regional transport authority. The developments aim to resolve bus traffic problems across an entire route, either by creating bus lanes, adapting routes, modifying the traffic system, or by changing the geometry or operation of junctions and traffic lights. They also strive to improve the operating rate, reliability, accessibility and comfort of the buses. This traffic has fallen slightly compared to 2006 (-1.5%). This is mainly due to the reorganisation of the PC1 route following the T3 tramline put into service and the strikes in November 2007. The traffic on Mobilien routes, excluding the PC1, has increased by 4%. 10
