Olivier Zarrouati awarded the Jean-Louis Gerondeau-Zodiac Aerospace prize created with Ecole Polytechnique in honor of the Group's CEO from 1973 to 2007. This prize supports innovative projects initiated by students, doctoral candidates or recent graduates of the Ecole Polytechnique and encourages company creation. In 2013, three projects were awarded in the health and sport sectors.

FEETME aims to create a pressure sensitive shoe sole connected to a smartphone or data acquisition unit. It is easy to use and initially intended for diabetics.

3MEDICAL develops innovative stents for the treatment of atherosclerosis, with remote post-operative follow-up.

SAM develops a system that adjusts bike gears in all situations without setting adjustments.

NAT strengthens the cabin retrofit offering

The acquisition of Northwest Aerospace Technologies strengthened the Group's offering for cabin retrofit by providing strategic competence certification. The company employs 160 people in Everett, Washington.

MORE THAN 80 PEOPLE PARTICIPATED IN THE GROUP'S SECOND AIRLINE SYMPOSIUM

There were 31 airline and leasing companies represented. They discussed Zodiac Aerospace Group's commitment to its customers and concluded that its policy of “Stronger together” was its strength. Presentations of products marketed or under development, such as the ISIS cabin, were also on the program.

ZODIAC SEATS ON BOARD WITH THE PROGRAM

BEST & BEYOND - AIR FRANCE

With its program Best & Beyond, Air France aims to reposition itself as one of the best global companies for its quality of service and passenger comfort. It chose Zodiac Seats and a fully flat reclining seat for its business class that offers passengers direct access and more privacy. It also chose the economy class seat Z300 to equip its long-haul fleet.
