Mobility, source of individual and collective value

With tools like the Group Mobility Charter, developed by the Human Resources departments of several countries, Zodiac Aerospace encourages its employees to play an active role in the development of their careers and performance. Professional and geographical mobility also helps to strengthen the synergies of the Group and is a source of personal enrichment. Open in all countries since 2013, the Group Mobility intranet offers a growing number of opportunities to Group employees and has filled 25% of internal offers. It was enhanced in 2013 with new tools such as the ability to create email alerts or choose certain criteria (region, trade, etc.) and keywords.

Training, a performance lever

To be able to meet expectations and needs, the Group invests in training its employees. Employees receive, on average, 3 days of training per year

Mainly offered on a local level, training takes many forms: specialized training sessions, e-learning, and distance education. At the Group level, the focus continues to be on operational excellence and on the Lean strategy, as well as on the supply chain, on which all managers were trained. In addition, for 4,000 employees, e-learning on ethics and preventing corruption is in development, as well as a reflection on management and leadership. Human Resources department supports the Technology and Innovation department for the creation of a network that brings together over a hundred experts from the Group and 25 leading senior experts. Objectives: to better develop and promote science and technology careers, encourage excellence and sharing.

Commitment to gender equality

Considering the diversity as a performance lever Zodiac Aerospace intends to advance the position of women in technical professions and decision-making positions. In France, several commitments have been made. Management's performance evaluation now includes indicators for the share of women being recruited and promotions to management positions. In addition, several measures are designed to ensure that maternity or parental leave

45 trades to discover, 15,000 job posts to fill: during the Paris Air Show, Le Bourget in June, the “Avion des Metiers20” at the GIFAS Job and Training Fair was the opportunity for Zodiac Aerospace to highlight the diversity in aviation careers and to share it with a large audience of mostly young people. At two booths, the Group presented careers related to seats and electrical distribution: products, data sheets (skills, qualities, missions, training and changes), video screenings, as well as talks given by employees and an HR representative.
