An ambitious recruiting policy
Maintained at a high level, recruiting supports the development of the Group worldwide and in all its businesses. 4,461 employees joined Zodiac Aerospace in 2012/2013, of which more than half were in Tunisia, Thailand and Mexico. In addition, 600 people were integrated via acquisitions during the fiscal year At August 31, 2013, 76% of employees worked outside of France and 63% outside of Europe (France included).
To attract talent, the Group strengthened its relationships with top graduate schools such as the Ecole Polytechnique, the Ecole Centrale, ISAE-Supaero, Ensam and Supelec in France and organized meetings with recent graduates or students, especially at events such as the Paris Air Show, Le Bourget in June 2013. It also encourages participation in VIE, the French International Internship Program, and hosts interns, primarily in the United States: 70% will be recruited afterwards.
A renewed communication carries this dynamic. In 2013, the Group's website was enhanced with two sections: the first section is a collection of employee testimonies from different businesses, the second shows global employment offers (fixed-term or permanent contract, work-study and internship) with detailed descriptions. The employment offers section also receives unsolicited applications. From January to September 2013, 28,000 people responded to employment offers or submitted unsolicited applications. Nearly 600 employment offers have been filled. The Group also strengthened its presence on social networks.
