The new generation of lavatories for the SFF1350, which will equip Airbus A350 XWBs, entered into production for first deliveries in 2014. At the height of the program, a thousand lavatories will be delivered annually to Airbus. Via a joint bid with Zodiac Galleys & Equipment, Zodiac Cabin & Structures scored points on the Chinese market, where Comae ordered the lavatories for its C919. Two major European airlines also chose an AFT Complex ensemble for their Airbus A320s, which integrates two lavatories and a galley into a single unit, freeing up space for additional seats. In addition, in Europe, the US and Asia several major airlines have also chosen these solutions for the renovation of their lavatories.

Developments in composite materials

The activity is also developing at a good pace in the field of advanced composite materials, with supply contracts for the Boeing B787 and structures and assemblies of the Boeing/Bell V22. To better meet the growing needs of the market and process components of larger size, Zodiac Cabin & Structures has equipped its Marysville plant in the United States with a new autoclave and efficient equipment for cutting and marking.
