Innovations

IN EXTERNAL LIGHTING

In addition to our cabin and cockpit lighting, we also offer comprehensive external lighting solutions. Also based on LED (Light Emitting Diode) or HID (High-Intensity Discharge) technology, they are less sensitive to vibrations, more reliable and require less maintenance than halogen lamps.

LED:

A GOOD CHOICE

Halogen lamps are giving way to a new generation of LED lighting. 10% lighter and up to 100 times more reliable, they require hardly any maintenance throughout the life of the aircraft. For example, we have chosen using it for our latest range of cabin lighting, for the Falcon 5X external lighting system and the new landing headlight of the Airbus A33O, which is under development.

The environment:

A BENEFIT TO THE ENVIRONMENT

Substituting LEDs for halogen and fluorescent lamps is a double advantage for the environment: consuming three times less energy and eliminating mercury and phosphorous sources.
