This capacitive epoxy fuel gauge, found in the fuel tanks, guarantees precision and maximum security. Used with numerous programs, it sends a signal proportional to its depth of immersion.

Yannick Assouad CEO, ZODIAC AIRCRAFT SYSTEMS

“The reliability of our products, the excellence of our teams and our cost competitiveness are recognized by our customers. We maintain this lead by continually optimizing our products and our systems’ architectures, which keeps us on the cutting edge of technologies such as electronics, electrical power, fluid mechanics, electromechanics, etc. Innovation is fertile ground for future growth.”

Technological research: three major lines

“Our research focuses on three major lines. First, a more electric aircraft. World leader in primary electrical power distribution systems, we work with our partners on the diversification of energy sources, in particular fuel cells and batteries, and on electrical supply networks (converters, switching and monitoring). Second line: composite materials. To support their development, we are eliminating electrical fuel tanks wiring (wireless gauges in composite) and inerting them. Finally, we are also innovating in the cabin, with a new range of interior lighting, advanced water and waste management systems and in on-board connectivity (in-flight Internet access and GSM). These innovative systems support our growth and guarantee it. Added to the acquisition of companies with high technological content supplementing or strengthening our expertise and capabilities, during the fiscal year were IMS, IPS and ACC LaJonchere and TriaGnoSys in September 2013”

Better serve our customers

“To accompany these technological challenges, we are also strengthening our operational efficiency and competitiveness to better serve our customers. We have streamlined our supplier base and reduced our delivery times. Production is growing in Tunisia, Morocco and Mexico. It must continue.”
