Hans-Christian Mahnke, director and founder of AfricAvenir Windhoek has been showing quality African films since 2004, tackling the challenges of distribution and screening culture in order to bring quality African movies to African. In 2009, in association with Joe-Vision Production and the France-Namibian Cultural Centre (FNCC) he launched the Namibian Movie Collection, currently consisting of almost fifty titles. The Namibian Film Collection, will be presented by Hans-Christian Mahnke during DISCOP AFRICA 2012, on the AFRICAVENIR stand.
