Djamil also counts, amongst other international projects, the New York bid for the 2012 Olympic Games, the Sochi bid for the Winter Olympics Games in 2014, and the Abuja bid to host the Commonwealth Games in 2014, project for which he coordinated the planning and the production of the Technical bid file. Currently an Adviser to the Association of National Olympic Committees of Africa (ANOCA) and the owner and President of a first division Football Team in Senegal, Diamil has initiated several other major projects in Africa such as the Africa Sports Hall of Fame, the annual JAPPO Awards, the Africa Sports Directory and an important children Sports and Education program in Senegal (CISA KIDS).

conseiller ANOCA (ASSOCIATION OF NATIONAL OLYMPIC COMITEE OF AFRICA) Djamil Faye est le leader dans l’administration sportive en Afrique. Il a initié la Convention annuelle des sports internationaux en Afrique (CISA) dont la 6ème édition s’est tenue au Mali en 2012. Depuis 1993 il a acquis une expérience considérable dans le milieu Olympique. Après avoir contribué a la venue du Cambodge lors des Jeux Olympiques d’Atlanta en 1996, il a été nommé responsable auprès du comité d’organisation aux jeux de Sydney en 2000 et à ceux d’Athènes l’été 2004. Il a également servi d’expert senior durant les Jeux Olympiques d’été de Beijing en 2008 et à Singapour en 2010 lors des Jeux Olympiques de la jeunesse. Parmi les autres projets de Djamil : une offre de New York pour les J.O de 2012, une offre de Sochi pour les J.O d’hiver de 2014 et l’offre d’Abudja pour accueillir les Jeux du Commonwealth de 2014 pour lesquels il devra coordonner le planning et la production d’offre de documents techniques. coo A24 MEDiA Executive Producer, AFRICA JOURNAL KENYA Daniel began his journalistic career in 1985 at CNN, where he covered various stories such as the 1991 Gulf war, the OJ Simpson trial, the fall of the Berlin wall, and the 1988 and 1992 US Presidential elections. He went on to join ASSOCIATED PRESS TELEVISION in 1994 as Deputy Editor for Asia, running the entire region. Notable stories he covered: the fall of the Suharto regime in Indonesia, East Timor’s Independence, the 2000 Sydney Olympics, the 2001 Afghan war, the end of the monarchy in Nepal and the 2005 Indian Ocean tsunami. Later Daniel was the Head of Intake at ABU DHABI TELEVISION before moving to Africa. At A24 MEDIA, he spearheads major productions such as the 20 documentaries for the CCTV NEWS FACES OF AFRICA series. Daniel is currently working on ideas for new programs that aimed at furthering the A24 MEDIA mission of showcasing the best of this continent.

Il a ensuite rejoint ASSOCIATED PRESS TELEVISION en 1994, comme rédacteur en chef adjoint, pour couvrir toute la zone Asie. Les remarquables histoires qu’il a couvertes : la chute du régime Suharto en Indonésie, l’indépendance du Timor Oriental, les JO de Sydney en 2000, la Guerre d’Afghanistan en 2001, la fin de la monarchie au Népal et le Tsunami de l’Océan Indien en 2005. Plus tard, Daniel a été Directeur des Programmes d’ABU DHABI TELEVISION, avant de partir en Afrique. Au sein d’A24 MEDIA, il est le fer de lance d’importantes productions telles que 20 documentaires pour les séries de CCTV NEWS FACES OF AFRICA. Daniel développe actuellement des programmes destinés à promouvoir le continent africain dans le cadre de la mission de FRANCE 24. Daniel travaille également sur des idées de nouveaux programmes visant à promouvoir le meilleur du continent africain à travers la mission d’A24 MEDIA.
