TELEVISION MARKETPLACE
There is a slightly chaotic TV landscape, with many channels operating at the edge of legality, but growth and potential are strong. In addition to the state-run channel, Radio- Télévision Nationale Congolaise (RTNC) with near-national coverage, several daily newspapers, numerous private TV stations and more than 100 private radio stations cover the country. While there has been a rapid increase in the number of commercial TV channels, radio remains the dominant form of communication. The Ministry of Press and Communications is responsible for media regulation.
MARCHÉ DE LA TÉLÉVISION
Le paysage télévisuel est légèrement chaotique, de nombreuses chaînes fonctionnent à la limite de la légalité, mais la croissance et le potentiel sont forts. Outre la chaîne publique, Radio-Télévision Nationale Congolaise (RTNC), qui assure une couverture nationale presque complète, plusieurs quotidiens, de nombreuses stations de télévision privées et plus de 100 stations de radio privées sont en exploitation dans tout le pays. Si l’on a observé une croissance rapide du nombre des chaînes TV commerciales, la radio reste la forme de communication dominante. La responsabilité de la régulation des médias incombe au Ministère de la Presse et des Communications.
